Fringe S5 Trailer!

Well, I can't say I'm jazzed about the resistance storyline--and it sure looks like the whole show is going to take place in 2036 now--but on the plus side, Olivia is very definitely around in the future. The episode last season set in the future left that in question, and I was worried.

I do miss the focus on alternate universes rather than time travel. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR TIME TRAVEL. But oh well. It'll still be worth watching, I'm sure.

I wrapped up my Farscape rewatch with The Peacekeeper Wars this weekend, and...wow. You know, the only thing I remembered about that miniseries was the Lion Kingesque ending with John, Aeryn, and baby D'Argo, but it was quite excellent indeed! I'm a sucker for political machinations on a galactic scale, and by the end of its run, FS delivered that in spades. Also, although I plan to avoid children, I hope that one day, in a trying situation, I will have the same presence of mind that Aeryn demonstrates by continuing to shoot bad guys while in labor.

I am reasonably certain that shooting would have made me feel better during labor. I was PISSED at my body and the world for about 90% of it. (I had to be induced. It sucked.)
