Acts of Sacrifice
My first thought upon seeing the title was, "Huh, I have no memory of this at all. I wonder...OH, IT'S THIS ONE." And the Lumati plot came flooding back to me. *facepalm* Poor, poor Susan. Although I get the impression she sort of enjoyed the experience.

Bullet points, 'cause I'm tired:
- The Lumati's focus on evolution and improving the species by eliminating weak genetic specimens reminds me of the Shadows' ideal of improvement through conflict.

- Interesting that some of the Narn consider G'Kar impure in way similar to how the Minbari look on Delenn. You gotta watch those Humans; they'll infect you with their humanness.

- Speaking of which, I kind of wonder if Delenn would've agreed to participate in the refugee aid scheme if she weren't trying to flirt with Sheridan and fulfill the prophecy. Given that it's humanitarian aid, rather than military, as she argued against earlier in the episode, I want to say yes, but I'm not entirely sure.

- Londo goes on about how good it is to have friends just to be friendly with, and I think he means it in the moment, but I'm also pretty sure that with Londo, friendship comes with plenty of strings attached.

- Something about the "governments deal in matters of convenience, not conscience," line bothers me. Governments are made of people who are perfectly capable of morality. Presumably the unified Earth government holds elections where anyone can run after meeting an age requirement; they, like we in the US, have a government of the people, by the people--they (we) ARE the government. It's not this Big Different OTHER thing; it's us. And people with consciences serve in the government. (I mean, I'm assuming the legislature is not made entirely of sociopaths.) You can't just say "The government deals in matters of convenience, not conscience," because "the government" isn't a monolith.

Hunter, Prey
- And now Kosh's training begins. He doesn't seem to think Sheridan's going to do very well, does he? Heh.

- "I've realized just how much we don't know about you and your people." *sporfle* No shit, Sherlock.

- These people are worst conspiracists ever. First there was Ivanova and Garibaldi very obviously rolling their eyes at each other when Cranston talked about how the government wouldn't want Jacobsen's info to get out. Then Sheridan meets his contact in some random docking bay where it appears anyone could come in at any moment. And then of course there's the whole "not telling them the one thing that could actually help them find the guy" part. How was that not completely suspicious? Oy.

- Kosh's ship/Moya OTP!
