Even shorter than usual this week, since to say I am overwhelmed with things to do is an understatement of gargantuan proportions. Plus, after spending an hour out in the cold taking pictures of a befogged campus, I'm tired and wanna go to bed.
Atlantis
- Dude, Galen and Gretchen Speck were in this episode. I...ow. And Gretchen had a really bad fake accent.
- Nice way to save money on sets, guys. And then blow it all on the costuming, but hey... *g*
- I think I have to adopt my motto from Alias for Atlantis: Drink more, think less. The science is bad, the plotlines are hackneyed and predictable...and yet I'm a glutton for punishment (or at least for snarky McKay and sweet John/Lizzie), so I keep coming back.
BSG
- Enough with the freaking "x hours ago" plotlines. They're getting old, and it did nothing for this ep, which was nifty enough on its own.
- Aw, Lee and Kara are EVEN MORE dysfunctional. Ha!
- Kat's a royal bitch, but on some level I almost like her. Although I think Starbuck should get at least a bit fo the credit for taking the Scar down; if she hadn't been acting as bait, Kat never would have been able to shoot the thing.
- Nice shot of Starbuck's scar in there to go with the whole "scar" theme/title. Heh.
