Nooooooo, Nina! :( Why do so many characters get offed (or off themselves) at the end of an episode where they finally get to show exactly how awesome and BAMFy they are? And Nina was excellent in this episode. I always want more Nina, and this delivered.
In fact, the whole episode delivered. I think it's the only one I unequivocally like from this season, perhaps because they finally got back to the idea of Observers being something more interesting than mechanically-augmented fascist humans. Also good: Walter growing more and more Walternatey throughout the episode, only to be undone by Nina's death. Some fine acting there, not that this is any different from usual.
The reveal that Donald was September was rather anticlimactic. Didn't we all know this? I know I'd figured it since the pocket universe episode, at least.
And heh, I like how the promo monkeys have given up on trying to keep the secret that the plan has something to do with rewriting time so this season never happened, which we could have guessed from, like, that episode last season that jump-started all this.
