icepixie: ([Castle] My fandom reads)
Awww. Has someone had a lot of shows canceled out from under him?

(I still don't really get Twitter. People have lots of conversations on it, but since only one half appears on any one person's page, it's exceedingly difficult to figure out what's going on. Tumblr, which I have been exploring of late because it seems like what little there is of Body of Proof fandom might be hiding over there, appears to do much the same, but at least there are pretty pictures. Why is fandom leaving el-jaaaaaaaaaay??? *sadface*)

*

Speaking of Tumblr, this one has many lovely pictures of the very lovely Dana Delany. I think I'm going with [livejournal.com profile] mylittleredgirl's theory that she sleeps in a cryo chamber at night, because I would never have guessed she was 55. I don't usually fangirl actors, but I might have to make an exception here, because after reading/watching various articles and interviews on BoP, she comes across as a very smart, fun and interesting person.

I am very, very over the zombie-mania we've been living with since approximately 2004, but I have to admit that this video was hilarious.
icepixie: ([BoP] Megan somber)
This is mostly me noodling around with the characters rather than an actual story, to be entirely honest.

Title: The Shape I Found You In
Rating: G
Word Count: 700
Characters/Pairing: Megan&Peter friendship, maybe a hint of UST if you squint real hard
Summary: "For all that Dr. Megan Hunt is the most unlikable person working in the Philadelphia Medical Examiners' office, Peter likes her."
Notes: Set between 1.02 and 1.03. Title shamelessly stolen from the Girlyman song of the same name.

Megan would probably appreciate being referred to as a challenge. )
icepixie: ([Other] Birds on a wire)
I know, I know, I'm totally spamming you today, but I noticed that the dogwoods had burst into bloom practically overnight,* and so here are some photos.

Pretties )

In other news, it is EIGHTY-NINE DEGREES RIGHT NOW. I very much approve of winter getting its butt out of here, but this is a little much for the beginning of April. (I think I said that last year. Last summer was particularly hellish. This does not bode well.)

* My mother claims they've been blooming for a week and I just haven't noticed, which...is not entirely unlikely, but I remain dubious.
icepixie: ([Farscape] Zhaan touch stars)
Yeah, I know I said I'd stop spamming, but dogwoods get even prettier at sunset. What can I do?

Also there is a bird. No one is surprised. )
